Kavikko Abdul Rahman who passed away recently is one of the most admired poets in Tamil. He had a good friendship with Isaignani ilaiyara and A.R.Rahman. However he has never written any song in Tamil films. The two legendary musicians had many times requested Kavikko in personal as well as public meetings to give his poem so that they will use it for their music composition. But the Kavikko had always politely refused.

In the video posted on June 3rd after the death of the poet, Ghibran said he has acquired the permission of Kavikko Ayya to use one of his poems for a song in director Thamira's 'Aan Devathai' starring Samuthirakani in the lead role. The film is being produced by Sigaram Cinemas banner.

Ghibran said that Kavikko listened to the basic tune of the song and liked and asked him to play the full song once it is completed. Ghibran has completed the song and planned to play it to the poet within a few days but the latter passed away without listening to the song.
