Bollywood action hero Vidyut Jammwal will be doing a high-voltage espionage thriller titled 'IB 71' in the direction of Sankalp Reddy, the Telugu director of 'Ghazi' fame. The movie is produced by the lead man himself on Action Hero Films, a banner which he started recently.

The 'Commando' and 'Junglee' actor will be playing a powerful role in this film, whose story unfolds in the backdrop of an Indo-Pakistani war. The actor said, "I write this with the utmost gratitude and sincerity to convey my love to you for your blessings and support. This film is a step towards fulfilling the promise of quality filmmaking," Vidyut said.

Telling the story of a two-front war, the film will go on the floors soon. It's reported that Aditya Shastri has penned its story.

The film will also be backed by Reliance Entertainment. It's also learned that it will have a big release in 2022.

Earlier this year, in February, Sankalp Reddy directed a segment in 'Pitta Kathalu'. The anthology had Satyadev Kancharana and Eesha Rebba in lead roles.
