‘Ghantasala’ Teaser: A Moving Delight

After biopics on personalities from different fields, it’s now time for one on a legendary singer.  It’s Ghantasala.  Written and directed by Ch. Rama Rao, it comes with the tagline, ‘The Great’.  

Releasing the teaser of the movie is SPB.  Produced by Lakshmi Neeraja, it tells the story of how Ghantasala had to literally beg for alms and suffer a jail term, among others, due to his passion for singing.  Prominent playback singer Krishna Chaitanya is essaying the titular role.  

The biopic also stars Mrudhula, Master Athulith (as child Ghantasala), Subbaraya Sharma, Deekshith, JK Bharavi, and Ashok Kumar.  

Music is by Saluru Vasu Rao.  The film was shot in locations across Hyderabad, Vizianagaram and Chennai.
