With the lofty objective of promoting the cause of dubbing, Ghantasala Ratnakumar gave voiceover for 10 hours at a stretch for a programme held on Friday at Prasad Labs, Hyderabad. He did it successfully and is all set to find his spot in Indian Book of Records and Asian Book of Records.

He expressed a desire to see the importance of dubbing increase at least now. The art of dubbing doesn't have recognition to this day, he said.

Saikumar said that his career as a dubbing artist began around the same time as Ratnakumar's. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao, Vennelakanti, Sashant V and 'Dubbing' Janaki were present.
