‘Ghani’ is all set to hit the screens on April 8. There has been an undercurrent of demand in Telangana for its ticket prices to be tempered in view of the unrealistically high maximum prices.
The news is that public demand has found an answer. The state government has reduced the prices in a revision announced today. These are the new rates: For Multiplexes: Rs.200 + GST. For Single Screens: Rs.150 including GST.
A key grievance has been taken care of. Films like ‘Roudram Ranam Rudhiram’ are not affected by gloriously high pricing. However, not every film ticket price can be as high. The collections for ‘Ghani’, produced by Allu Bobby and Sidhu Mudda, will be high.
‘Ghani’ is a boxing-based drama with loads of richness. Director Kiran Korrapati has cast Nadhiya as Varun Tej’s mother. Upendra, Jagapathi Babu, Suniel Setty, Saiee Manjrekar (as the hero’s ladylove), VK Naresh, and Naveen Chandra have got key roles. Music is by Thaman. The three songs from the movie are out. George Williams’ cinematography is a highlight.
