B-town’s thunderous baddie Pradeep Rawat known for his famous villainous roles across the various Indian film industries is back to what he does best! After winning accolades for his powerful and fearsome character in 2008’s megahit ‘Ghajini’, Rawat is back onscreen as the lead antagonist in Producer Ashok Thakeria's much anticipated comedy film Grand Masti, which is a sequel to 2004’s super hit film Masti!

He is a well known name in the south industry but when ‘Grand Masti’ came his way the actor was super excited and struck by the script and took it up immediately!

In ‘Grand Masti’ Rawat’s character is of principal of a college. He sports a very classy European look, with his checked jackets and berets, and plays a stern character through the film. This role is in complete contrast to the role he played in ‘Ghajini’ which very evil, raw, crass, and rowdy.

Sources also say the ace villain has done the most fearsome role in B-town with ‘Grand Masti’.

Speaking about the talented veteran’s role in the film, a source close to the team shared, "Mr Rawat portrays the main negative character in the film. He was last seen in Ghajini and the entire team felt that the kind of fear factor needed for this role, would be wonderfully brought out by him, as he is easily the next Amrish Puri of our era!"

Well, we can’t wait to catch the first glimpse of the ace villain showing his awe striking mastery onscreen!

Releasing on 13th September, ‘Grand Masti’ is directed by Indra Kumar and stars Vivek Oberoi, Riteish Deshmukh, Aftab Shivdasani, Manjari Fadnis, Karishma Tanna, Sonalee, Kainaat Arora, Bruna Abdalah, Maryam Zakaria, Suresh Menon apart from Pradeep Rawat!
