'Gandhada Gudi', the upcoming Kannada-language film starring Puneeth Rajkumar, is a docudrama. Its trailer is out. The film, directed by Amoghavarsha JS, will hit the screens on October 28.

"Our film is Dr Puneeth Rajkumar’s final adieu. It is a true-to-life, multi-lingual feature film," said producer Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar (the wife of the late actor) today.

Coming with the tagline "Journey of A True Hero," 'GG' has been shot with remarkable clarity, going by the trailer.

The idea was to present the hero in all his naturality. "Puneeth sir sheds all his stardom and sets out on a journey with Amoghavarsha (the director of the film) to discover new stories and unravel secrets in a whole new immersive cinematic experience," the makers said.

The film's music is by B Ajaneesh Loknath, while Pratheek Shetty is its cinematographer.

'GG' is touted to be the late Sandalwood superstar's dream project. The actor was 46 when he passed away last year on October 21.
