'NTR-Kathanayakudu', the biopic on NT Rama Rao, is slated to hit the screens on January 9. The film is in its last schedule.

The news is that its first single, titled 'Kathanayaka', will be released this Sunday at 7.42 am. MM Keeravani is the music director of this much-awaited big-ticket biopic.

Announcing the release, the makers have put out a poster in which an aggressive Balakrishna (as NTR) comes with a swag even as his supporters cheer on.

The Krish directed 'Kathanayakudu' also features Vidya Balan (playing NTR's wife Basavatarakam). It will boast of a number of cameos, mainly of Rakul Preet Singh (as Sridevi), Sumanth (as ANR), Nithya Menon (as Savitri), Prakash Raj (as Nagi Reddy), among others.

If the film's base story is by Dr. L Srikanth, dialogues are by Sai Madhav Burra. VS Gnanasekhar is the cinematographer. Ramakrishna and Monika of 'Rangasthalam' fame are its art directors.
