George Soros to set up global university with USD 1 billion

American billionaire George Soros, who is one of the richest men in the world, has said that he will be setting up a global university to raise awareness against nationalism and to promote the cause of open societies.  It will also work against climate change.  Soros will be investing USD 1 billion toward this endeavour.  

Speaking at the ongoing World Economic Forum in Davos, Soros alleged that Facebook is conspiring with Donald Trump to help the latter get re-elected as the President of America later this year.

He said that Narendra Modi is spearheading the “most frightening setback” to democracy.  “(The) democratically elected Narendra Modi is creating a Hindu nationalist state.  He is imposing punitive measures on Kashmir, and threatening to deprive millions of Muslims of their citizenship,” Soros said.  

Soros also added in his address that the world would be a better place without China’s Xi Jinping and India’s Modi.
