George Floyd, a 46-year-old African American man, was killed in Minneapolis after he was being restrained by the police. A Video footage of the incident, turned viral on social media platforms, and it revealed that an officer was kneeling on Floyd’s neck and he suffocated and was gasping for breath.
Following this gruesome incident of racist killing, four policemen have been fired, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has ordered to conduct a federal civil rights probe. The officer Derek Chauvin who killed Floyd has been charged with third degree murder and there have been massive protests all over the US.
