Actor Roshan had made his debut last year, playing the lead role in the movie Genius directed by Suseenthiran and the movie costarring Priya Lal, Jayaprakash, Aadukalam Naren, Singampuli and many others, had music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Genius revolved around the pressure faced by students from the society and the movie was also produced by Roshan in his Sudesiwood Films private limited. Though the movie was not a commercial success, actor Roshan is now starting his next movie.

It has been revealed that Roshan's next movie as hero will be directed by debutant director Karthik, who had previously assisted acclaimed director Vetrimaran starting from Pollathavan. This movie will be produced by Roshan's Sudesiwood films banner, and more details on the cast and crew will be out soon.
