The coronavirus that started terrorising the world population for the past six months so has now infected more than 35 lakh people in India claiming the lives of close to 64000. There is also a long list of celebrities and politicians who have been affected including Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Vishal and others.

Genelia Deshmukh the evergreen actress has revealed that she too tested positive and has recovered from COVID 19. In a Twitter post she has written "Hi, I was tested Covid positive three weeks ago. I was asymptomatic for last 21 days. With God's grace I tested negative today. As much as I count my blessings that my battle with the disease has been much easier but at the same time I must admit that these last 21 days in isolation have been the most challenging to deal with."

The doting mother of two children has added "No amount of FaceTime and digital immersion can kill the evil of loneliness. I am happy to be back with family and loved ones. Surround yourselves with love... that's the true strength and it's all one needs," she added."

To her fans and followers, Genelia has a piece of solid advice "Test early, eat healthy, stay fit -- the only way to fight this monster,"
