Gemini Ganesan's daughter angry with 'Mahanati'

When 'Mahanati' clearly showed that Gemini Ganesan was the wrong kind of husband, what did we expect? Kamala Selvaraj, Ganesan's daughter, has come out to allege that the biopic portrays her father in a poor light.
Suggesting that the film wrongly shows Ganesan as the one who made Savitri become a drunkard, Kamala says that 'Mahanati' also demeans her father as doing petty stuff when he was a star on a par with legends like MGR. She alleges that Savitri once unchained her dogs to chase Ganesan away when he went to meet her during the making of 'Praptham' (the 1971 Tamil film directed and produced by Savitri).
Essayed by Dulquer Salman, Ganesan's character in 'Mahanati' is the second most important one after Savitri's.
