Geethanjali Selvaraghavan, the wife and former associate of director Selvaraghavan is ready with her debut directorial 'Malai Nerathu Mayakkam'. The film has been written by Selvaraghavan and stars Balakirshna Kola and Punjab-based actress Wamiqa Gabbi in lead roles.

The film was earlier expected to release within the end of December 2015 as the Censor process was completed a couple of weeks ago. But now official sources confirmed that the film will hit the screens on the New Years Day that is January 1, 2016

MNM has been produced by fame editor Kola Bhaskar who is also the father of Balakrishna Kola who debuts as an actor with this film. Music has been scored by Amrit while Sridhar has handled the lens and Vasanth and Rukesh have done the Editing.

The film has acquired a 'A' certificate from Censor officials who watched the film. The team did not opt for any revision as the film deals with an adult subject and toning it down for the suitability all age groups may not render justice to the script.
