Swathi, who has proved herself as a good actress in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam, is going to act in a film titled 'Tripura'. 'Geethanjali' fame Raja Kiran will direct this female oriented movie.

A.Chinnababu and M.Rajasekhar will produce this film and Swathi and Pavani will present it on Crazy media banner. Director says, "We will do the Pooja on April 6th. The first schedule will be done between 13th to 25th of the same month. Swathi will play the title role in this powerful film. Swathi never acted in a genre like this. Her role is wonderful and it will explore another angle in her acting".
