The teaser of 'Geetha Govindam' seems to have been tailor-made to suit Vijay Deverakonda's image. The black-n-white dream sequence conveys a sense of pure love (in our films, heroes dreaming of a happily-ever-after is received by the audience as a sign of purity) is typical of his Arjun Reddy self.

And Geetha Madam (Rashmika Mandanna) getting the $hit out of the naughty (?) Govindam could be poetic justice with respect to an actor whose most-remembered image is that of a domineering and flawed Arjun Reddy.

Watch him feign in front of her that he is completely decent. Those in the age bracket of 15-20 will completely relate to the body language.

And if everything goes well, Rashmika should be a mini-Sai Pallavi.

Gopi Sundar's music for the film is expected to be top-notch, especially after the successful song 'Inkem Inkem'. The full audio will be out on July 29. Directed by Parusuram, the rom-com has cinematography by Manikandan. Editing is by Marthand K Venkatesh.

The film will hit the screens on August 15.
