'Geetha Govindam' stands at No. 4 in US premieres

'Geetha Govindam', which has released today amid high expectations, reportedly grossed USD 400,000 from Premiere Shows in the US. This is the 4th highest gross figure in Tollywood so far this year. The film's openings in the Overseas market go to show what Vijay Deverakonda is capable of.
The first three films, namely 'Rangasthalam', 'Agnyaathavasi' and 'Bharat Ane Nenu' feature superstars. As such, 'GG' coming at No. 4 is a big deal for sure.
Ground reports suggest that the Parusuram-directed movie is doing pretty well in the domestic market as well. Today is a public holiday and, with positive word-of-mouth, it should make big in the first weekend. The film's theatrical rights are valued at more than Rs. 17 Cr.
