Vijay Deverakonda has got three promising releases for the rest of the year. 'Geetha Govindam', 'Taxiwala', and 'NOTA' (Telugu-Tamil bilingual) are the ones.

The news is that 'Geetha Govindam', a rom-com directed by Parusuram, is arriving on August 15 as an Independence Day special. "Meeru em aina anukondi. My official status matram idhe madam," the actor tweets, speaking in the language of his character, Govindam. The Madam in question is Rashmika Mandanna of 'Chalo' fame.

Announcing the date, GA2 Pictures (from the stable of Geetha Arts) has released a poster in which a formally-dressed Deverakonda is seen saying that he is 25 and still a virgin.

'GG' is a romantic, family entertainer that was "penned keeping Deverakonda's image in mind." Parusuram recently noted, "Rashmika's role is much like what she is in real life. She is bubbly and a livewire offscreen."

Naga Babu, Subbaraju, Vennela Kishore, and Rahul Ramakrishna are playing supporting and comedy roles. Music is by Gopi Sundar. Cinematography is by Manikandan.
