Continuing its box-office rampage, 'Geetha Govindam' has reportedly mopped up a share of Rs. 18 Cr (worldwide) in just 3 days.  The film started giving its distributors profits from the second day itself.  As things stand, the Parasuram directorial will breach the Rs. 35 Cr mark easily.  

About 50 theatres were added in Nizam territory from Friday.  "The film is set to recover worldwide theatrical rights amount (Rs. 15-16 Cr) from Nizam territory alone in full run. Last year, this tremendous feat was achieved by 'Fidaa' (Rs. 18 Cr)," says box-office tracker Raghu Nandan Reddy.  

In the US, Vijay Deverakonda is striding like a colossus.  The film has fetched USD 1 million (nearly) in three days, with premiers giving it a huge momentum this Tuesday.  

Truly, this is a phenomenal film that has come as a relief for stakeholders in Tollywood who were buffeted by flops like 'Srinivasa Kalyanam'.  If 'RX 100' drew youth audiences largely, 'Geetha Govindam' is attracting family audiences in large numbers.
