Vijay Deverakonda will be seen with 'Chalo' girl Rashmika Mandanna in a film titled 'Geetha Govindam'. Directed by Parasuram (Bujji) of 'Srirastu Subhamastu' fame, the rom-com is produced by Bunny Vass and presented by Allu Aravind. The film's First Look is out.

Having done with its shooting, 'GG' is gearing up for a release, most probably in July itself. There is this buzz that it could be out in the theatres much before Deverakonda's other film, 'Taxiwala'.

Allu Aravind today said, “Vijay Deverakonda earned stardom with his acting skills in 'Pelli Choopulu' and 'Arjun Reddy'. 'GG' will be another best film in his career. Parasuram has come up with a wonderful family subject. Rashmika will be seen as a girl-next-door in our entertainer. The scenes in their combination have come out really well. Gopi Sunder has given a fascinating musical output."

Director Parasuram said, “Srirastu Subhamastu was my first film under Geetha Arts and it was well received by the audience. 'GG' is a romantic, family entertainer. Thanks to Allu Aravind garu’s blessings and Bunny Vas’s support, the output is really great. I was always curious about Vijay ever since 'Arjun Reddy'. I penned the script keeping his image in my mind. Our Govindam will entertain you with his attitude within the context of a family entertainer. Rashmika's role is much like what she is in real life. She is bubbly and a livewire offscreen."

Producer Bunny Vas thanked Allu Aravind and his commitment to giving the audience a bang for their buck. "Govindam alias Vijay Deverakonda's craze needs no introduction. We will never forget his support for the film. Parasuram is an expert when it comes to family emotions. The way he has visualized romantic and comedy scenes between the lead pair in 'GG' is great."

Naga Babu, Subbaraju, Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, Giri Babu, Annapurnaamma, Mauryani, Subhash, Abhay, Swapnika, Satyam Rajesh, Duvvasi Mohan, Gundu Sudarshan, Gautam Raj, Aneesha, Kalyani Natarajan, and Sandhya Janak are part of the cast.
