There is tremendous of hard work in `Geetha Bangle Store'. Debutant Manju Mithra has given some of the mesmerizing moments in his first attempt. The main bottleneck of this film is the length of 164 minutes. From this film Kannada cinema industry has two lovely actors surfacing - Pramod and Sushmitha are pretty good in the first attempt. It is not easy going for the duo - they have put in hard work and sincerity in the work is seen in the frames. V Manohar in music and Cine Tech Soori camera work definitely boost up the film. Manju Mithra moronic family scenes are not fit for some section of audience.
There are two simple and sensible families. Geeetha (Sushmitha) is living with her mother (Bhavya). Selling bangles is the business. Veera (Pramod) is a perfect youngster in the village supporting his family with sericulture business and also studying in the college where Geetha is studying.
In the market place accidently he holds the hand of Geetha to select a particular size of bangle for his villager. Veera is shocked with his move as the mobile phone discussion with his friend is responsible for it. Geetha wonder struck leaves the place and the people in the market place are also shocked with this dragging of Geetha by Veera.
Veera falls in love with Geetha in the later reels. Geetha also reciprocate. For the comfort bangle business of Geetha mother, Veera helps financially. When that is questioned in the family by his father, in a fit of anger Veera goes away from the house for a short time. On return he realizes the mistake. There are two detractors for Veera for his straightforward thinking.
Whether the love of Geetha and Veera continue for good or bad is climax part of the film. Pramod has come here to stay. He has the good looks, well built, dialogue delivery is superb and he has the ability to emote. In action he is too good. He fulfills the needs of a hero. Sushmitha is also impressive. The quiet looks of this pretty girl is absorbing.
The screaming of Achyuth Kumar could have been avoided. Noted director of Kannada cinema Giriraj as villain selling snakes is a good entry to acting. He is in a cruel role. Bhavya, Vinayaprakash, Veena Sunder and Mandya Ramesh have given good support.
Cine Tech Soori cinematography is very compact. V Manohar has given interesting tunes and lyrics in addition to it makes it additional boost for `Geetha Bangle Stores'.
The tag line of this film `Dreams are sold here' - at the outset the dreams are crashed of lovers in the film.
