It has been quite some time since she was last seen on the big screen. However Geeta Basra was sure that whenever she would return in a film, it would be with a bang. Early this week this finally got ready for the round of 'lights, camera and action' with the shoot of 'Zila Ghaziabad' in which she did an item number. However contrary to popular perception, she decided not to get into the 'Munni' and 'Sheila' mode and instead wanted to carve a niche of her own.

"It's a full on 'dhinchaak' number that I have done for this film," says Geeta who was earlier seen in films like 'The Train' and 'Dil Diya Hai', both with Emraan Hashmi, "I was sure about one thing that even if I do just an item number in a film instead of a full fledged role, it would have to be something special. When I heard this song then I was convinced enough to do it. However I also wanted to know that how would it be eventually choreographed. It couldn't have been run of the mill by any means."

On a different note, she isn't willing to comment on speculations around her personal life though. Even though a segment of media has already declared that she is marrying Harbhajan Singh early next year, Geeta begs off from the conversation. "Please, I have work related matters to talk about so why not stick to that," she says.

Sure Geeta, point noted.
