Amit Shah's tweet that Hindi should be the official language to unite India has come under criticism in the non-Hindi speaking regions. Gayathri Raghuram a vociferous BJP supporter has insisted that Hindi should take over and unite the country
The 'Bigg Boss' contestant and dance choreographer/actress has stated "Hindi is not language of any particular state but it’s widely spoken by most of the states and by most Indians. it unites us. Let this generation welcome the language to communicate understand each other. We have national flag song bird animal fruit why not a language that unite?"
Gayathri has also added "Now learning Hindi is tough task for me. But let kids decide what is best for them. Wether national language or not, one knowing Hindi or English is just going to help us communicate. Let not the previous generations be a speed breaker or decide for kids to learn Hindi or English".
