Actress and dance choreographer Gayathri Raghuram, who was a Bigg Boss season 1 contestant and a strong supporter of BJP, had been in the news for the past few days after her conflict with Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi leader Thol Thirumavalavan.

Gayathri Raghuram had been posting a series of tweets alleging that his men had been harassing her assistant via phone calls and had also posted tweets challenging him to come and meet her in Marina on November 27. She had also posted a video of him meeting Sri Lankan president and posted controversial views.

In an unexpected move, following a complaint given by the IT Wing of Viduthalai Chiruthaigal party, Twitter has suspended the account of Gayathri Raghuram. It must be noted that Gayathri Raghuram who had a verified Twitter account had a huge 3.64 lakhs followers on social media and this is a huge loss for her.
