Veteran actress Gauthami made a comeback with the blockbuster 'Papanasam' in which she played the wife of Kamal Haasan. After that she paired up with Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal after 18 years gap in the Telugu-Tamil-Malayalam tri-lingual titled as 'Namadhu' in Tamil. This film has just released last Friday.

Now the actress will be pairing up with yet another leading hero of the 1990s after a gap of 26 years. The official PR of the 'Thevar Magan' actress confirmed that she has signed to play the wife of actor Prabhu in a new romantic-comedy flick in Tamil. This marks the onscreen pairing up of the duo after a long gap of 26 years. They have earlier acted together in the film 'Raja Kaiya Vecha' directed by Suresh Krishna that released in the year 1990.

Details about the director, cast and crew members of the new film will be announced within this week.
