Actress Gauthami who was one among the leading heroines of the 1990s in all South Indian language film industries took a long sabbatical. She returned to acting earlier this year as Kamal Haasan`s coy and clever wife in the blockbuster thriller flick Papanasam`.

Now it has become evident that the charming lady is game to continue her tryst with the camera and she will be accepting good projects coming her way. Gauthami will be pairing up with another superstar after Kamal Haasan.

Yes Gauthami`s next will be a Telugu-Malayalam bilingual to be directed by Chandra Sekhar Yeleti in which she will be pairing up with Mayalayalam superstar Mohan Lal. The duo was last seen playing husband and wife in Mani Ratnam`s period flick Iruvar` which released in 1997. Prior to that Gauthami had acted as Mohan Lal`s heroine in a few Malayalam films.

This yet to be titled bilingual is touted to be a family entertainer and the film would mark the comeback of Gauthami in Telugu and Malayalam film industries.
