Gautham Vasudev Menon’s next with these top Tamil and Bollywood heroes?

Gautham Vasudev Menon has a cult fan following for his romantic films such as ‘Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaya’, ‘Nee Thaane En Ponvasantham’ and ‘Achcham Enbadhu Madamaiyada’.  He has also shown his class in action thrillers such as ‘Kaaka Kaaka’, ‘Vettaiyadu Vilayadu’, ‘Yennai Arindhaal’ and most recently ‘Vendhu Thanindhadhu Kaadu’.

In recent times GVM is also much sought after as an actor and is starring in a number of films including Simbu’s ‘Pathu Thala’ and Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Leo’ directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj for which he is currently shooting in Kashmir.  The classy filmmaker had announced that the scripting for ‘Vendhu Thanindhadhu Kaadu 2’ is already underway and he will be filming it next.

However according to sources the sequel has been put on hold and instead Gautham will be moving ahead with another powerful script.  It is said that talks have been initiated with Vijay Sethupathi and Abhishekh Bachchan to star in the as yet untitled project and that both have expressed their interest in it.  If all goes well the mega pan Indian project will be launched in the coming weeks stay tuned.

Gautham Menon has also completed the patchwork shooting for his long delayed ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ starring Chiyaan Vikram and Aishwarya Rajesh.  The action thriller is expected to release in the later part of the year.  His upcoming films as actor include Vetrimaaran’s ‘Viduthalai’ in which he is interestingly costarring with Vijay Sethupathi.
