Simbu is busily working on Gautham Menon directorial 'Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu' after the success of his comeback film 'Maanadu'. The filming of the VTK has been progressing for the past few months in a brisk phase in the locales of Mumbai and Chennai. Now, the makers revealed a massive update about the film.

Earlier, the team launched a glimpse teaser of Muthu's journey from Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu. It showed Malayalam actor Neeraj Madhav playing the negative role while Radhika Sarathkumar essays STR's mother role. The stylish filmmaker GVM has introduced the female lead now with a character poster.

Gautham Vasudev Menon has introduced Siddhi Idnani as Muthu's Paavai. She is an Indian actress who starred in a few Telugu and Gujarati films. Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu will mark her Tamil debut. Sharing the poster, GVM also added that the final stretch of the VTK shooting begins on January 3rd, 2022 and Siddhi will join this schedule.

The Mozart of Madras AR Rahman is composing the musical score for this film with the lyrics crafted by Thamarai. Jeyamohan has penned the screenplay and dialogues of the movie. Siddhartha Nuni is handling the camera while Anthony takes care of the editing. Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu is likely to hit the screens worldwide in the summer of 2022.
