Kamal Haasan is a name to be reckoned in the film industry. The actor who made his entry into the industry at the age of five has since then been unstoppable for several decades later. However, Kamal’s announcement that he will quit cinema to become a full time politician is a disappointting news for many.

Ace director Gautham Menon seems to be not happy with Ulaganaayagan’s decision. Stating that he cannot comment about Kamal’s political foray, Gautham at the same time noted that it was his own choice. He also opined that he would like Kamal to continue his works in Tamil cinema. Gautham said as a fan he did not wish to see Kamal quit cinema.

It is also worth mentioning here that the duo had worked together before in ‘Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu’ which became a superhit. Kamal has 'Vishwaroopam 2' and Shankar's 'Indian 2' lined up.
