Director Gautham Menon, who just had a release with his long delayed Dhanush - Megha Akash starrer Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta is next getting ready for the release of his next project. The director's next release will be his debut in the digital platform - the web series Queen.
Based on the life of former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and popular actress Jayalalithaa, Queen is also directed by Kidaari director Prasath Murugesan, and this series will have Anikha Surendran from Viswasam and Yennai Arindhaal, Anjana Jayaprakash and Ramya Krishnan playing various stages of the lead character.
Now it has been revealed that actress Sonia Agarwal who was last seen playing supporting roles in movies like Thadam and Ayogya will be seen playing Anikha Surendran's mother in Queen. Queen will have its trailer launched on December 5, and it is expected that this MX series will be launched on December 13.
