Even as director Gautham Vasudev Menon is waiting for the release of his next movie Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta starring Dhanush and Megha Akash, and with the movie expected to release next week either on September 12 or 13, here's an update on the director's next.

Gautham Menon's next directorial venture is the MX original web series Queen, which is the biopic of former Chief minister of Tamil Nadu and actress Jayalalithaa and the first look of this web series was released today. The first look features a capture of Ramya Krishnan as Jayalalitha, in a white saree with black and red border.

Queen is co-directed by Prasath Murugesan known for directing the Sasikumar starrer Kidaari and the director is said to have filmed the childhood portions of Jayalalitha with Yennai Arindhaal and Viswasam child actor Anikha Surendran and Ramya Krishnan's parts are shot by Gautham Menon.
