The Gautham Menon initiative Photon Kathaas is fast on its way to become one of the important media conglomerates of south India.

After announcing his plans of producing films in south Indian languages in association with reputed Hollywood studios, Gautham Menon is going ahead with forward integration of his business.

Gautham Menon is now creating his own music label ‘Photon Kathaas Music’ to enter into the fiery battled audio arena. Gautham’s good friend and his most successful music director Harris Jayaraj will officially launch the Music Company on December 10 in Chennai.

Photon Kathaas Productions has been listed on the AIM market in London, making it the first publicly traded South-India based film Production Company on an international stock exchange. Gautham will be directing films exclusively for Photon Kathaas Productions and will also rope in other directors to make films under the banner.

Photon Kathaas’ current production slate includes ‘Azhagarsamiyin Kuthirai’ directed by Suseendaran, ‘Veppam’ directed by Anjana, ‘Nadunisi Naaigal’ and the Hindi remake of ‘VTV’ in association with Fox Star Studios directed by Gautham himself. The banner will also produce television series in the future.
