Now, the latest we hear is that an actor who debuted in Gautham Menon's film is onboard for 'AK61'.

Actor Veera started his career as an assistant director to Gautham Vasudev Menon in the evergreen film 'Vaaranam Aayiram', starring Suriya. Then, he made his acting debut in GVM's experimental film 'Nadunisi Naaigal' and also starred in the critically acclaimed movie 'Rajathandhiram' in 2015.

According to the latest sources, Veera will play a pivotal role in 'AK61'. The upcoming project's shooting is going on in full swing in Hyderabad. The team will officially announce the cast and crew soon. The makers have erected a set similar to Chennai Anna Saalai for the bank heist film. The ultimate star is said to be playing both the hero and villain in this venture.
