Earlier this month, we saw that director Gautham Menon shared pictures of himself with Chiyaan Vikram hinting at the possible revival of the duo's most-awaited & long-delayed spy thriller film titled 'Dhruva Natchathiram'. Now, it is being reported that the stylish filmmaker has spilled beans on the movie's release.

Chiyaan Vikram and Dhruv Vikram starrer 'Mahaan', directed by Karthik Subbaraj, was released earlier this year directly on Amazon Prime Video. The star actor also has 'Cobra' and 'Ponniyin Selvan' lined up for a theatrical release on August 31 and September 30, respectively. In a recent interview, Gautham Menon stated that Vikram will have the fourth film release this year.

Gautham revealed that Dhruva Natchathiram is most likely to hit the screens in December this year. As per the latest reports, Chiyaan Vikram has already completed dubbing for his portions in the spy thriller. Sources say that Red Giant Movies has acquired the rights to the film. Dhruva Natchathiram stars Ritu Varma and Aishwarya Rajesh as the female leads while Simran, Raadhika, Parthiban, and Dhivya Dharshini play key roles.
