Director Gautham Vasudev Menon's long awaited 'Achcham Yenbathu Madamaiyada' shows strong signs of getting released in November 2016. The film stars Silambarasan and Manjima Mohan in the lead roles. A.R.Rahman's songs for the film have been topping the charts for many months now.

Gautham is also directing Dhanush's 'Yenai Nokki Paayum Thotaa' whose shooting has been progressing rapidly.

Apart from these two films. there were widespread reports suggesting that the Romance Specialist director will take up a multilingual, multi-starrer as his next.

But the latest update emanating from Gautham's camp is that he has acquired the Tamil remake rights of 'Pelli Choppulu' the super hit romantic comedy that has completed a marvelous 75 days run in theaters. The Telugu film stars Vijay Devarakonda and Ritu Varma in lead roles.

It is not yet clear whether GVM will be directing the remake or only produce it under his Ondraaga Entertainments banner with another director at the helm.

We can expect the official confirmation regarding the same.
