In the new schedule of 'Gautamiputra Satakarni', Krish is going to shoot certain specific episodes related to the Satavahana emperor's life.
Since yesterday, portions related to the imperial sacrifice (called Rajasuya Yagam) began to be shot. "Historical evidences and Puranic references mention the existence of only two great kings who have performed this epic ritual - they are, Dharma Raju and Gautamiputra Satakarni", the makers have said.
The same are being shot in the Madhya Pradesh schedule. The performance of this ritual coincided with Satakarni taking up his mother's name. More importantly, the occasion marks the beginning of the Telugu New Year, that is, Ugadi.
"Such a co-incidence that Balakrishna is into organizing the activities in his capacity as the Chairman of Indo-American Cancer Hospital, named after his mother Basavatarakam. Fortuitously, September 6 and Swathi Nakshatram happen to be the birth day of Mokshagna and the birth star of Legendary NTR, respectively", says a source.
"It is a divine initiative and blessing from senior NTR to start the filming of Rajasuya sacrifice on such an auspicious day", the source avers.
This fourth schedule, which began on August 29 will go on till the 20th of September.
