‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’ lauded by Union Minister

Honorable Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu and State Minister Prathipati Pulla Rao with the film’s cast and crew watched 'Gautamiputra Satakarni' at a special screening yesterday in Hyderabad.

After watching the historical, Venkaiah Naidu said, "The film is just superb.  The story, presentation, dialogues, lyrics, music, costumes, locations, grandeur and every department have given the best. There is a necessity for filmmakers to educate the present generation about our history and preserve our culture, heritage. Satakarni symbolizes our Telugu honor, Telugu esteem and Telugu pride.  I am surprised with director Krish and his team’s dedication to have completed the film in 79 days. I congratulate him for making such historical project. War scenes in this movie are the best in Indian cinema. After NTR, it is only Balakrishna who can show the ease, comfort acting in these historical roles," he said.

"Generally, I do not watch movies because of time and other constraints but I took time for 'GPSK' because it is about our own history. I enjoyed the movie thoroughly. Once again congratulations to Balayya Babu, Krish, producers Rajiv Reddy, Bibo Srinu, writer Burra Sai Madhav and other technicians. Sankranti wishes to each and every one," he averred.

Prathipati Pulla Rao said,  "Congrats to GPS team. You re-created historical subject and penned a history of your own in Telugu cinema books. You made Telugu people feel proud and also taught them about our Satavahana glory. This Sankranti will be special treat for all Balayya Babu Fans."
