'Gautamiputra Satakarni' censored, but run-time surprises

'Gautamiputra Satakarni', the Jan 12th release, has just been done with censor. It has been certified with U/A.
As for the run-time, it's 135 minutes. The length is surprising because it's not normal for a historical (an untold story at that!) to be of this relatively less shorter length. Looks like Krish is here betting on quality rather than quantity. 'GPSK' doesn't tell the whole life story of the Satavahana Emperor, but only his glories. That's why, for example, even his death is not part of the film.
But even considering these factors, it wouldn't have been inappropriate to have a run-time of at least 15 minutes more.
