Gautami's strong opinion on national anthem

It is a known fact that every theatre plays national anthem before screening the movie. Though the move has been welcomed by many, some state it to be inappropriate and disconcerting.

Even the country’s apex court has voiced that patriotism cannot be forcefully inculcated to people and also that it doesn’t mean that one isn’t patriotic if he or she doesn’t stand up for the national anthem in theatres.

Kamal has registered his opinion yesterday that he needn’t be forced or tested about his patriotism. However actress Gautami has stated in her social page that it is our privilege and suty to stand up for the national anthem. “To honor our nation and do as our soldiers do who fight day and night to keep us safe,” the actress tweeted.
