Gautam Gambhir in trouble over cricket commentary

Gautam Gambhir was doing cricket commentary during the India-Bangladesh match when a parliamentary panel meeting was going on. The meet was regarding the morbid air pollution levels in Delhi.
Since the cricketer-turned-parliamentarian didn't attend the meet, he has been trolled heavily on social media. On his part, the BJP MP has said that he has done a lot for his constituency in just six months of being elected.
But his comment that he had to do the commentary in order to earn money to run his family, has come in for much ridicule. "Gambhir wants us to believe that he skipped Parliamentary Committee meeting to 'feed his family'. That despite of having Rs 147 crore of worth and a salary from taxpayers money," a politician said.
One @GabbarSingh joked, "I hope for all the righteousness Gautam Gambhir spouts, he deserves a tweet from Shahid Afridi for not attending the meeting on Delhi Pollution and choosing to do commentary in the #INDvsBAN match."
