The former Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi's rivalry with former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir has taken a fresh turn with the release of the former's autobiography titled “Game Changer”.Released on 30th April the book has been constantly in news thanks to many interesting and unknown details and facts Afridi had revealed in the book.
Afridi has written on things like his actual age, the Pakistan dressing room, fights with team mates like Waqar Younis, to name a few. Afridi has also written on his conflict with Gautam Gambhir which started in 2007 after exchange of words leading to an argument. Even now, Afridi has tried to degrade him, as he has mentioned that Gambhir behaves like a cross between Don Bradman and James Bond and that he's called saryal (burnt up) in Karachi. He said that he liked positive people and Gambhir wasn't one.
Following this, Gautam Gambhir has given a strong reply to Shahid Afridi as he tweeted advising Afridi to visit a psychiatrist and calling him a “hilarious man”, invited him to India and that he will take him to a psychiatrist for check-up. Gambhir had announced retirement from all forms of the game before few months and is now a part of BJP as a politician.
