It was just yesterday that ace actress Rani Mukerji and renowned filmmaker Aditya Chopra turned proud parents of a baby girl on December 9, 2015. This good news spread like wild fire all over. The couple is no time had also named their daughter Adira.

Sources say that, King Khan-Shah Rukh Khan is a close friend of Rani and Aditya, he has also worked with Yash Raj Films from a long time. But as they say that, wife always plays an important role so we got to know that Gauri Khan is fulfilling the family duties. According to media reports Gauri Khan was the first one from the industry to visit the new mummy in town. As Shah Rukh Khan is currently busy with the promotions of his next film Dilwale`, that`s the reason he could not make it.

It was first, actor and now uncle Uday Chopra who announced the arrival of the baby girl on Twitter. He tweeted saying, "IT's A GIRL!!!!!". Many other Bollywood stars pourd in their messages and love to Rani and the family. Later on, Rani Mukerji opened up saying, "Today, life has given us God's greatest gift with Adira. We thank fans, our friends and well-wishers for their unconditional support and blessings. With joy we begin this new chapter in our lives."

Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra got married in a private ceremony in Italy, in April 2014.
