Garikapati Narasimha Rao, the well-known author and spiritual exponent, has remarked that he is proud of 'Naatu Naatu'. Saying that the 'RRR' song was written in chaste Telugu, he added that such a pure Telugu song reaching the global stage (read a Golden Globe win and an Oscar nom) is something to be celebrated.
"The two actors (Ram Charan and Jr NTR) gave their best, adding to the song's glory. We must all appreciate MM Keeravani's tune and SS Rajamouli's direction as well," Garikapati said.
"I didn't know about the song till the other day. When I came to know about it, I listened to it for 30 minutes. The very title of the song is pakka Telugu language. I really appreciate Chandrabose. He exercised a lot to be able to pen such a song. He spent months. That's what 'sadhana' is about. Excellence in art doesn't come easily. The very Oscar nomination itself is a thing of pride. Pray to God that 'Naatu Naatu' wins the Oscar. It will always be a proud achievement for the Telugus," Garikapati said.
He was particularly in praise of the synchronized dance moves of Charan and Tarak. "They are great actors. I salute them even though they are younger than me," Garikapati added.
