On knowing that it is a girl child the killing is having in rapid scale. The ratio of male and female is declining in our society. Why the child in the womb that is ‘female’ is killed? There are many socio-economic factors got it.

When the child is at the ‘Gharba’ (womb) of the mother it is killed despite of 1994 law that knowing the sex of the child is barred in India. Noticing such facts director Sai Prakash made the screenplay when Bavaji producer of the film narrated the story line. The danger ahead of rampant increase in female feticide is discussed with real life characters and the need of the hour is also pushed across in the film.

It is an eye opener film to the present society. ‘Gharbada Gudi’ is the 96th film from director Saiprakash. He is extra cautious and anxious to give this film to the society.

Ramesh Bhat feels a good work always get support. This is the film best of my career of 13 years and very thought provoking to stop female feticide says Anu Prabhakar, Mohan is taking over from Ramesh Aravind in sacrificing role from this film. Sihikahi Chandru provided the facts that are bringing down the ratio of male and female in this sub continent. Sarcastic response came from Girija Lokesh veteran actress. Are they killing girl child in the womb because she suffers as a woman? She asked.

Anitha Rani recommended award for this kind of film. Anchor and television programmer Srinivas is music composer of four songs in this film. This is his third. First one is Sheshu, second one is Billion Dollar Baby.

Keshavashandru makes debut as dialogue writer for ‘Garbada Gudi’. Producer of ‘GG’ Bavaji is also story writer of this film. He is from cartooning to this field. He is happy with Saiprakash super fast shooting in one month for the film.
