Gangaraju is no run of the mill film producer.

He is one man who backs (and makes) only ventures that are different.

Little Soldiers, Aithe and Anukokunda Oka Roju are testimony to that.

So when his Amma Cheppindi is getting ready for release, the anticipation is more.

He is slowly emerging as one of the better and creatively superior filmmakers of our time.

The thing about Gangaraju is his compelling and honest narration. It stems from his spontaneous creativity that still flows from his ad world days.

Gangaraju's films are not boringly artistic. He likes to combine the virtues both kinds of cinema --- art and commercial. In other words, he makes movies that are a creation of intelligence as well as inspiration.

Gangaraju says his Amma Cheppandi is movie about mother and son. He says Sarvanan, who is the hero of the movie, will be a major revelation.

Watch out for the climax, he says.

We will. We are waiting for it, in fact.
