Ever since Venkat Prabhu's new movie 'Maanaadu' starring Simbu was announced there have been many speculations about the rest of the cast and the start of the shoot. According to reports, Kalyani Priyadarshan is the leading lady and Action King Arjun plays an important role. Producer Suresh Kamatchi has let out that filming will begin by May end.
A rumor started doing the rounds on the internet that Venkat Prabhu's dad Gangai Amaran is playing a politician and the villain against Simbu in 'Maanaadu'. VP has clarified that his multitalented dad is not doing any role in the yet to begin film as of now.
