'Gang', the Telugu version of Suriya's 'Thaana Serndha Kootam', has hit the screens today (January 12). Released by UV Creations with all optimism and amidst good omens, the film comes with "emotional characterizations and a heart-touching social message".

The makers claim that the film has been getting a thumbs-up from the audiences. "It has been declared a festival winner. The openings have been very promising. Thanks to the mouth talk, we are witnessing a steep uptick in the pre-bookings for the first and second shows this Friday," a source from UV Creations says.

"The performances and technical departments have done a fine job. Director Vignesh Shivan's treatment is surely going to have many more takers," the banner says, describing the film as a family entertainer.

The banner feels that just as 'Express Raja' was a hit during the 2016 Sankranthi, so also will 'Gang' be.
