'Gang Leader' does impressively at box-office

Gang Leader does impressively at box-office

'Gang Leader' has posted impressive figures in its first weekend. The crime-comedy collected Rs 11.75 Cr (Share) in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana put together by the end of Sunday. It collected a bit more on Sunday compared with Saturday.

In the US, where critics' ratings play a strong role in determining collections, the Nani-starrer grossed USD 700,000 despite unfavourable reviews (by and large).

Directed by Vikram K Kumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film's pre-release theatrical business was very high. It has to collect more than 'Jersey' to become a hit.

Starring also Kartikeya, Lakshmi, Saranya, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Shriya Reddy and Baby Praanya, the film has music by Anirudh.
