The golden star Ganesh and his BJP politician wife Smt Shilpa have taken up a good service on the Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahaddur Shastri birth anniversary.

Like how rocking star Yash and Radhika Pandit took up the cleaning of lakes in northern part of Karnataka, in the same way the couple Ganesh and Shilpa came forward to cleanse the Pattanagere Haladevedarahalli lake on October 2.

The good task of Ganesh and Shilpa were applauded even by the villagers and there was good support for this social activity.

Rajyasabha member Rajiv Chandrasekhar, actress Mayoori also joined the cause of cleaning up the lake. Shilpa and Ganesh returned from a Colombo trip to take up this good cause in the interest of environment and society.
