The much talked about film from the beginning the historical film 'Gandugali Kumara Rama' produced by Anitha Patabhiram completed shooting at a specially erected cave set at Abbainaidu Studio on the outskirts of Bangalore. In another durbar set the song Yee Jeeva Jeeva Ninadhe Niniradhe Enidhe, shot by director Bhargava with the help of cameraman Sundarnath Suvarna.

At Akash Recording room one song recorded for the film Gandugali Kumara Rama by music director Gurukiran was heard by Dr.Rajkumar couple.

Veerappa Maralawadi and Su Rudramurthy Shastri have jointly penned the dialogues for this film.

Shivrajkumar plays double role in this film. Srinath, Srinivasamurthy, Ashok, Ramesh Bhat, Doddanna, Anitha, Rambha, Laya, Seetha Sumitra, Pavitra Lokesh, Vanishri, Bagyasri, Shailaja Somasekhar are also in the cast.
